Job summary

BL CONSULTANT TEAM is seeking an experienced Inspection of Work (IOW) professional to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This contract position focuses on ensuring quality, safety and compliance of construction activities on site, including monitoring progress, verifying adherence to specs, and maintaining detailed inspection records for client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Registered candidate in Inspection Of Work (IOW) with LAM @ BEM.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction inspection or site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
• Strong communication skills with liaising with contractors, supervisors, engineers and clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and construction management software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks concurrently.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various project sites.
• Relevant certifications in construction inspection or QA are advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Responsibilities
