Job summary

DNV in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated coordinator to manage client and assignment coordination, ensuring responsive, customer-focused service and proper scope confirmation.

You will coordinate local and international inspection activities, onboard inspectors, and maintain accurate records in DNV systems, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role involves commercial control, project execution, and continuous improvement across governance, HSE, and data quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in client coordination and service delivery.
• Ability to review scope, location, schedule, safety and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for clients, vendors, inspectors and internal stakeholders, delivering professional, customer-focused service.
• Coordinate inspection requests: scope, schedule, location, competence, reporting, safety and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate local and international inspection activities and keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks and delays.
• Prepare work assignments covering references, location, scope, schedule, mobilization, safety, budget, and deliverables.
• Identify and propose suitable inspectors based on requirements, availability and profitability.
• Onboard and validate new freelance inspectors with technical reviewers and approvals.
• Maintain inspector records and manage inspection stamps where applicable.
• Ensure timely distribution of deliverables and complete project documentation.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements; support rate discussions within authority.
• Monitor budgets, WIP, AR and project financial performance; follow up as needed.
• Verify time, expenses, claims and requisitions per contracts; check billing and cost records.
