Job summary

Bateriku.com is seeking a Business Development Executive – Innovation to identify new technologies, evaluate innovation opportunities, manage pilot projects and drive digital solutions and commercialization initiatives.

As part of the Innovation team, you will coordinate cross-functional efforts across Technology, Operations, Marketing and external partners to bring new concepts to market and create value for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in innovation, digital transformation, technology partnerships, product development, business development or new business initiatives.
• Experience preparing business cases, proposals, project roadmaps, feasibility assessments and commercialization plans.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving Business Development, Technology, Operations, Marketing and external partners.
• Exposure to proof-of-concept (PoC), pilot programmes, product or solution validation, and commercialization activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and develop innovation opportunities, emerging technologies, digital solutions and new business initiatives aligned with Bateriku's strategic priorities.
• Conduct market, technology and competitor scanning to identify trends and potential commercial applications across automotive, mobility, AI, sustainability and digital platforms.
• Evaluate the strategic, operational, technical and commercial viability of new technologies, solutions and innovation concepts.
• Develop business cases, commercial proposals, project roadmaps, feasibility assessments and commercialization plans for shortlisted innovation initiatives.
• Support the design and execution of PoC, pilot and validation programmes, including objectives, scope, success criteria, timelines and expected business outcomes.
• Identify, engage and manage technology partners, startups, solution providers, research institutions and other external innovation partners.
• Support commercial negotiations and partnership structuring for technology collaborations, pilots, licensing, platform integration or commercialization arrangements.
• Monitor project milestones, pilot performance, risks, budgets and key outcomes, and prepare management updates and recommendations for decision-making.
• Support go-to-market and commercialization activities for validated solutions, including partner activation, internal readiness and market rollout.
• Maintain an innovation pipeline and ensure systematic tracking from idea identification and evaluation through pilot, validation, commercialization and scale-up.
