Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III to set up and run plastic injection molding operations. You will prepare molds, calibrate presses, cycle equipment, and guide shift personnel to maintain quality output.

The role requires a diploma or technical certificate and hands-on experience with molding processes and equipment. You’ll log changes, follow ISO standards, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate required.
• 2+ years in plastic injection molding preferred.
• Solid math and problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating molding equipment (MTC, robotic fixtures).
• Familiar with extrusion or molding processes.
• Understanding of process control/documentation requirements.
• Experience troubleshooting molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• SPC knowledge and its application.
• Polymer processing and drying familiarity.
• Familiarity with tooling functions in injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove molds in presses.
• Start up and cycle production equipment with proper adjustments.
• Check part quality and adjust equipment to meet standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting quality or efficiency.
• Log process changes, press settings, and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Lead the group to achieve optimal production output and efficiency.
