Job summary

PROFICIENT QUALITY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a production supervisor to lead tooling and process activities on the injection moulding line. You will oversee machine setup, mould changes and process adjustments to maintain efficient output.

You will set parameters, troubleshoot issues, guide technicians and operators, ensure safety and housekeeping, and work with cross-functional teams to meet quality and productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead moulding machine setup, mould changes and process adjustment.
• Set and optimise moulding parameters including temperature, pressure, speed and cycle time.
• Troubleshoot machine, mould, process and product quality issues.
• Ensure stable production and reduce rejects, downtime and cycle time.
• Perform daily machine inspections and basic maintenance.
• Guide technicians, operators and production team on technical issues.
• Communicate with team members and cross-functional departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain process records, checklists, safety and housekeeping.
• Ensure production meets quality, safety and productivity targets.
• Assist the Production Manager in boosting productivity and efficiency.
