Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to support day-to-day infrastructure operations and collaborate with the senior infrastructure team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role focuses on Windows/Linux server administration, basic networking and virtualization, and database technologies.

You will work with MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse and PostgreSQL, monitor systems with observability tools, and perform scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration.
• Basic understanding of networking and virtualization.
• Exposure to SQL Server and databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and GitHub.
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows and Linux server administration.
• Assist with networking, virtualization and infrastructure operations.
• Support SQL Server administration and basic troubleshooting.
• Work with MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse and PostgreSQL.
• Monitor infrastructure using monitoring and observability tools.
• Perform basic scripting using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support incident resolution.
• Assist with Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments.
