Job summary

Qaaf Resources Sdn. Bhd is seeking a senior IT Infrastructure Project Lead to develop and optimize internal processes for IP network planning and AMI network deployment.

The role focuses on WAN/NAN capacity planning, SLA adherence, and proactive performance improvements. You will coordinate with operations, engineering, and support teams to troubleshoot core network issues, mentor technicians, and drive design improvements to meet SLA requirements and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Develop and optimize internal processes for IP network planning & dimensioning and AMI network related activities.
• Perform IP Planning & System capacity dimensioning for WAN & NAN and other transport related nodes in AMI project.
• Analyze statistical performance data to proactively improve KPI and end-user experience through network optimization.

Responsibilities

• Work with operation, engineering, support teams to troubleshoot core network problems and resolve customer complaints.
• Support network roll-out activities such as router integration & smart meter provisioning when required.
• Deliver system training and mentor technicians/integrator as required.
• Investigate major AMI network disruptions or failures and set up quality audit processes for RF network rollouts.

Job description

A professional at this position level must have the following responsibilities :-

• Develop and optimize internal process for IP network planning & dimensioning and HES & NEMS related activities for AMI network.
• Perform IP Planning & System capacity dimensioning for WAN & NAN and other transport related nodes in AMI project.
• Monitor WAN and transport network according to the agreed SLA.
• Study and propose AMI network architecture to meet the requirement in the SLA.
• Analyze statistical performance data, proactively improve KPI and end user experience through network optimization measures.
• Work with the operation, engineering, support team and relevant parties to troubleshoot core network problems. Identify core network issue and solve customer complaint.
• Support network roll out activity such as router integration & smart meter provisioning whenever required.
• Deliver System training and mentor technician/integrator as required.
• Assist in investigate of major AMI network disruption or failures.
• Set up quality audit process for RF Network Roll out and perform routine check on the process implementation and quality assurance.
• To coordinate and prepare paper requirement if needed for Procurement Process
• Perform study on design improvement to ensure the network design is reviewed frequently to meet the SLA and to improve SLA requirement to meet expectation from customer.
• Work closely with RF Team, Project Team and Operations Team to work on NCNR requirements and standards

Education & Experience Requirements
