Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks an Industrial Trainee for SiC PS Low Voltage MOSFETs/JFETs within its Research & Development team. You will support process integration and product engineers, assist with DoE/ SPC tasks, and contribute to data-driven process improvements during a 12-month contract.

The role emphasizes semiconductor device physics knowledge, collaboration with PI/PTE, and exposure to wafer fabrication and deployment of new product releases.

Responsibilities

• Provide key support to Process Integration & Product Engineers on Inline/PCM/Functional Test/yield data for process improvement to meet quality and yield targets.
• Support PI & PTE in SPC and DoE task.
• Work on lot history checks, commonality investigations and data summary for MRB, defect density, inline excursions, FAR, ICO in support of lot assessment, disposition and root cause finding.
• Support PMX team on new product releases and technology transfer.
• Drive and execute short term projects assigned.

• Fresh Degree in Microelectronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Science in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science or any related field
• Last CGPA : 3.00 and above
• Preference will be given to candidates with strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics (e.g. pn junction diode, MOSFET, BJTs etc.) And wafer fabrication techniques and processes (e.g. diffusion, ion implantation, etching, photolithography, thin film deposition etc.)
