Job summary

Leuze Electronic Malaysia is seeking a software-integrated engineer to support production and test systems for new Leuze sensors, from conception through testing to commissioning.

You will develop new software to support production capacity, enhance existing software to reduce errors and cost, and contribute to high-performance data acquisition systems in modern manufacturing environments. Travel overseas is a must, and German work culture understanding is valued.

Qualifications

• Min. bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics or related field, with a focus on software integration.
• 5+ years’ experience in programming machine software, preferably in (opto-) electronic environment.
• Experience in testing and measurement technology.

Responsibilities

• Support product development projects and design production and test systems for new Leuze sensors with a focus on software and electronic, from conception through testing to commissioning, and develop new software to support production capacity.
• Enhance and maintain existing software to eliminate human errors, improve equipment throughput, data process monitoring, failure detection, improve process control, and reduce manufacturing cost.
• Actively support the (further) development of high-performance software for test data and machine data acquisition systems in modern manufacturing environments, as well as production-related applications, web applications, and databases.
• Contribute your expertise to series production, for example, in fault analysis on production systems or the development of operating resources.
• Lead & support initiatives to improve performance.

Experience in programming in C#.NET, ASP.NET Core as well as Database in SQL is a plus.

Multi-tasking environment & work independently with a high level of personal responsibilities in fast growing environment.

Professional experience in the field of testing and measurement technology

Traveling overseas is a must.

Understanding of German Culture in work practices to achieve high quality results.
