Job summary

WD is seeking an IE Engineer to evaluate manufacturing systems, improve productivity, and ensure quality across production lines in a high-volume environment. You will analyze processes, collect data, and implement improvements that raise efficiency and reduce waste.

You will perform work and time studies, plan layouts, monitor capacity, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related discipline.
• Six Sigma knowledge is preferred/required.
• Hands-on BRISCAD and Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Optimize, plan, and analyze new machine layout.
• Monitor equipment capacity & drive bottleneck improvements.
• Carry out work & time studies for production optimization.
• Collaborate across functions to improve processes and productivity.
• Generate statistics periodically to ensure targets are met.
• Participate in projects to improve factory efficiency.
• Supervise and coordinate IE technicians on tasks.
