Job summary

Ichia Technologies Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineer (IE) to plan and optimize production capacity and manpower utilization, conduct time studies, line balancing, and lead productivity improvements.

You will analyze manufacturing processes, implement Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, perform OEE analysis and VSM, design factory layouts, support new production line setups, and prepare engineering reports using Excel and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in IE, capacity planning, line balancing, Lean, OEE, VSM, or process improvement.
• Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize production capacity and manpower utilization.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and productivity improvement activities.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Perform OEE analysis, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Design and improve factory layouts and material flow.
• Support new production line setup and process optimization.
• Prepare engineering reports and dashboards using Excel or AI tools.
