Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive lean-based productivity improvements and optimize capacity planning in a manufacturing setup. You will maintain IE databases, perform time studies, and lead system projects to enhance efficiency.

Collaborating with Production, QA, Process and Automation teams, you will ensure lean practices are applied to improve cycle times, material flows, and overall plant utilization while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, e.g. IE/ME or related fields.
• 3–7 years working experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead productivity improvement projects to cut costs and improve cycle times.
• Plan capacity to meet demand and maximize plant utilization.
• Maintain IE databases and lead related system projects.
• Perform time studies and set time standards using Lean principles.
• Layout production for high efficiency and ergonomic operations.
• Coordinate tool relocation and re-layout activities.
• Plan resources for DL/IDL based on output targets.
• Analyze material and process flows; identify improvement opportunities.
• Validate automation performance and offline processes.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Process and Automation teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
