Job summary

HICOM-Teck See is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the physical assets across company facilities in Shah Alam. You will perform startup and machine inspections, monitor equipment, and ensure timely maintenance services while adhering to safety and 5S standards.

The role requires basic drawing literacy, a minimum of 1 year in manufacturing maintenance, and willingness to work shifts and longer hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic, or PW3/PW4 certificates.
• Minimum 1 year relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings (advantage).
• Shift work and long hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and machine inspections at defined intervals.
• Monitor and maintain machines, equipment and systems.
• Complete maintenance services as assigned; troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Prepare and update weekly KAIZEN reports.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety compliance in the work area.
• Be aware of risks and opportunities; manage deviations from procedures.
