Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Park Planning Engineer to support planning and development of our industrial facilities and manufacturing site.

You will lead planning activities for zoning, building layout, road networks, and utilities, coordinating with design consultants and internal teams to ensure submissions and approvals are secured on schedule. The role requires collaboration, cost awareness, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, urban planning or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial park, factory or manufacturing facility planning.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to prepare/review planning layouts.
• Strong cost awareness and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities from planning stage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall industrial park planning including zoning, building layout, road networks, and utility pipeline planning per land development requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants to review drawings and support site surveys, feasibility studies, planning submissions and approvals with authorities.
• Plan factory specifications and supporting facilities (utilities, fire protection, hazardous waste facilities, infrastructure).
• Follow up during construction to ensure planning requirements are implemented, optimize site layout and control costs.
• Maintain planning drawings, approval records and documentation while coordinating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall industrial park planning, including functional zoning, building layout, road networks, and utility pipeline planning based on land development requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants to review drawings and support site surveys, feasibility studies, planning submissions, and approval processes with relevant authorities.
• Plan factory specifications and supporting facilities based on production requirements, including utilities, fire protection systems, hazardous waste facilities, and other supporting infrastructure.
• Follow up during the construction stage to ensure planning requirements are properly implemented, optimize site layout, control construction costs, and support phased development planning.
• Maintain planning drawings, approval records, and related documentation, while coordinating requirements with internal teams such as Engineering, Project, and Business Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or other relevant technical disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial park, factory, or manufacturing facility planning.
• Familiar with industrial land requirements, planning regulations, and authority submission / approval processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to independently prepare and review planning layouts.
• Strong attention to detail with good cost awareness and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities from the planning stage.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively across different stakeholders.
• Strong execution, time management, and ownership to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and with good quality.
