Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Eng Tech II in Penang, Malaysia. The role supports the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing and managing production and service delivery systems, emphasizing performance, reliability and cost control.

Expect engagement with data, layouts, and system updates. The position focuses on maintaining layouts, updating IE-related data, and ensuring data integrity to support process improvement and standardization across the site.

Qualifications

• Broad range of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, process mapping, facilities/workstation design).
• Eye for detail when updating data/systems and basic analytical ability.
• Proficiency with computers and common engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare time studies and time estimates.
• Update site layout and project layouts as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Update the Key Process maps as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Update the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB) as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Enter configuration data into SAP as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Enter configuration data into Manufacturing Execution System (MES) as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
• Ensure standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
• Support Lean initiatives with data integrity for process improvement.
• Execute other duties as assigned per IE team.
