Job summary

Jabil in Penang, Bayan Lepas is seeking an Industrial Eng Tech II to support planning, design, and management of integrated production and service delivery systems. The role focuses on maintaining layouts, data in IE systems, and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities include time studies, updating layouts and process maps, SAP/IEDB data entry, and ensuring standardization of processes across the site. Strong tool knowledge and data discipline are required.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding and application of industrial engineering tools such as work measurement and process mapping.
• Eye for detail when updating data and systems.
• Basic analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Basic communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Office, Visio, Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in time studies and time estimates.
• Update site/layouts per Industrial Engineer guidance.
• Update Key Process maps as directed by IE.
• Update Product-Process-Time database (IEDB) as directed by IE.
• Enter configuration data into SAP as directed by IE.
• This includes Bill of Materials configuration and part master data.
• Enter configuration data into Manufacturing Execution System per IE guidance.
• This includes Routes, Steps, and Process Times.
• Ensure standardization of Jabil processes site-wide per global/regional/site directions.
• Support Lean initiatives by maintaining data integrity for process improvement.
• Maintain other IE duties as assigned.
• Comply with all procedures in the security policy.
