Job summary

Celestica is seeking an IE & Lean Manager to drive operational excellence and automation integration in Malaysia. You will maximize manufacturing efficiency, optimize PCB build lines, and scale shop-floor capabilities to meet rapid volume growth in electronics and advanced technology sectors.

You will lead the deployment of Celestica Operating System (COS) and core Lean tools while coaching cross-functional teams in structured problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Lean deployment and shop-floor improvements.
• Proven ability to run cost-reduction and cycle-time projects.
• Strong problem-solving using structured methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead COS principles and Lean tools across production lines.
• Drive waste elimination and reduce WIP and cycle times.
• Coach teams in A3, RCA, and Six Sigma DMAIC.
• Oversee labor utilization, standard work, and time studies.
• Collaborate on workstation design, line balancing, and layouts.
• Support NPI transfers and capacity planning with simulations.
• Partner with automation teams to integrate smart manufacturing.
• Identify RPA and Poka-Yoke opportunities to cut costs.
• Track OEE, FPY, productivity, and output metrics.
