Job summary

Flex in Prai, Penang is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager / Assistant Manager to lead a team of industrial engineers focused on productivity and cost efficiency. You will optimize labor utilization, process flow, and equipment layout while aligning with manufacturing strategy.

You'll drive throughputs, reduce waste, and implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a skilled workforce, with responsibilities spanning planning, cost reviews, and production control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience including supervision.
• Prior experience in industrial engineering in high technology electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish work measurement programs and develop labor standards.
• Evaluate staff utilization, facility layout, and production data to define efficient use of workers and equipment.
• Suggest methods to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste through workflow reorganization and equipment relocation.
• Develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage/salary administration, and job evaluation.
• Coordinate production planning and control systems to ensure product quality and efficient operations.
