ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to optimize precision machining processes, improve efficiency, and reduce scrap across CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis cells.

You will lead time-and-motion studies, develop standard work and takt times, and collaborate with programs to refine speeds and feeds while ensuring robust fixturing and tooling. This is a hands-on role in a high‑mix/low‑volume environment with ERP/MRP exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related mechanical discipline.

Responsabilités

Evaluate existing CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis machining processes to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce scrap.
Conduct time and motion studies to establish accurate labor standards, standard work instructions, and takt times.
Design and improve custom work holding fixtures, cutting tools, and automated loading equipment to enhance safety and repeatability.
Optimize shop floor layouts for raw materials and finished parts to improve material flow and reduce WIP.
Collaborate with programmers and machinists to prove out new programs and refine cutting parameters (speeds and feeds).
Partner with quality teams to resolve dimensional non-conformances and drive corrective actions (e.g., 8D, Fishbone analysis).
Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and process travelers within the ERP system.
