Job summary

ICHOR Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership across the product lifecycle—from design and development to manufacturing release and production. You will enhance manufacturability, resolve complex production issues and support supplier qualification for outsourced manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process development, equipment, tooling and production systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects and cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support development of products from design stage through manufacturing release and full-scale production.
• Review and improve product designs based on customer requirements, manufacturability, quality, reliability and cost.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve complex mechanical, product, manufacturing and production issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, specifications, cut-lists, labels and other documentation for production.
• Drive product and design improvements to enhance manufacturability, performance, quality, reliability and efficiency.
• Lead FAI activities and improve FAI release capacity, quality and turnaround time.
