Job summary

EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Kedah, is seeking an Industrial Engineer focused on continuous improvement to accelerate cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency. You will lead data-driven improvement projects, conduct time studies, establish standard times, optimize manpower, and balance production lines to increase productivity, quality and OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in Lithium Battery, Electronics, Semiconductor, Automotive or Smart Manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute cost reduction projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and achieve annual cost-saving targets.
• Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis, process study, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Conduct time study, establish standard time, optimize manpower utilization, and improve production line balancing (Line Balance).
• Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks and waste, and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality, and OEE.
• Apply Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing tools including VSM, SMED, 5 Why, PDCA, Six Sigma, IE tools, and Kaizen methodology.
• Support factory improvement initiatives including workplace organization, standardization, and operational excellence projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement projects with Production, Process, Equipment, Quality and other departments.
• Prepare improvement reports, analyze project results, and present progress updates to management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities | 主要职责

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Quality Engineering, or related STEM disciplines.

• 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement, or Manufacturing Engineering.

• Experience in Lithium Battery, Electronics, Semiconductor, Automotive, or Smart Manufacturing industries is highly preferred.

• Outstanding fresh graduates with strong academic background and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
