Job summary

Tyson Foods in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Electrical/Maintenance professional to operate and maintain electrical and utility systems across our manufacturing sites. The role requires 3+ years in industrial environments, knowledge of MCCs, switchgear, transformers, generators and UPS, and exposure to PLC/HMI/SCADA/BMS.

You will respond to breakdowns, support automation, and coordinate contractor activities.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in electrical/utility/automation systems.
• Knowledge of MCC, switchgear, transformers, generators and UPS.
• Exposure to PLC, HMI, SCADA and BMS.
• Familiarity with fire protection systems.
• Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and utility system operation and maintenance.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Automation and control system support.
• Fire protection system inspection and maintenance.
• Contractor coordination and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ST, BOMBA, OSHA and company requirements.
