Job summary

Paradigm Precision Components Sdn Bhd. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that boost productivity, quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency.

The role covers PLC/HMI programming, servo motion control, robotics, machine vision, and system integration within manufacturing environments. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning, coordinate with suppliers and integrators, and drive initiatives aligned with Lean,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering related to automation.

Responsibilities

Lead automation projects from concept design through procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, validation and production handover.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers, system integrators, contractors, and machine builders throughout project implementation.
Prepare project schedules, budgets, technical specifications, and progress reports.
Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual operations, improve cycle time, increase machine utilization and reduce waste.
Troubleshoot automation equipment and control systems to minimize downtime.
Maintain PLC programs, HMI software, machine backups, engineering documentation, and revision control.
Ensure automation systems comply with safety requirements and applicable standards.
Provide technical training and guidance to operators and maintenance personnel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
