Job summary

Cochlear Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Goods Inwards Inspector to perform inspection of on-receipt items, ensuring conformance to product specs and quality schedules. You will handle visual inspection, use measuring tools, and document results.

You will liaise with internal teams, ensure correct supplier documentation, maintain 5S/ESD, and contribute to inventory accuracy in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) required.
• 2-3 years in warehouse/logistics in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with measuring tools (calipers, rulers, micrometers).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• ESD controls experience preferred.
• MS Excel & Word proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform goods inwards inspection and delivery acceptance.
• Inspect goods to specifications and quality schedules.
• Use measuring tools for inspection of goods received.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams on defects.
• Ensure supplier documentation is correct for goods received.
• Maintain product identification, storage and handling per QMS; 5S/ESD compliance.
