Job summary

Cochlear Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Goods Inwards Inspector to ensure incoming items meet exact specifications and quality standards. You will perform inspections, document results, and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

With a diploma in engineering and 2–3 years in warehouse or manufacturing QA, you will handle visual checks, measuring tools, ERP systems, and 5S/ESD practices, contributing to accurate inventory and compliance with Cochlear's QMS.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) or relevant.
• 2–3 years in warehouse/logistics in manufacturing.
• Experience with measuring tools and reading technical drawings is a plus.
• ERP experience, ideally Oracle; knowledge of ESD controls.
• Proficient MS Excel and Word abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform goods inwards inspection and delivery acceptance.
• Inspect goods inwards per quality schedules; accept/reject per specs.
• Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools on receipts.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams on defects/shortages.
• Verify supplier documentation for received goods.
• Ensure proper product ID, storage, and handling per QMS.
• Take on additional quality tasks (e.g., audits) when trained.
• Deliver goods to inventory per warehouse procedures.
• Follow 5S and ESD requirements.
• Comply with Cochlear’s quality system and standards.
• Maintain safe workplace practices.
