Job summary

Monee is seeking a motivated Trade Marketing Specialist to fuel brand and product growth in the market. The role focuses on developing and executing trade marketing initiatives, coordinating with sales and merchandising teams, and ensuring effective in-store visibility and promotions.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in trade marketing, strong communication skills, and an understanding of retail dynamics. Fintech exposure is a plus, and proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
• 1–3 years in trade marketing, FMCG, retail or related industries preferred.
• Understanding of trade marketing concepts, retail dynamics, and promotional strategies.
• Ability to plan, implement, and monitor in-store activations with high brand guideline compliance.
• Competence in analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to work with internal teams, retailers and external partners.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance in relation to financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or GWS is an advantage.
• Experience in the fintech industry would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• In-store & on-site visibility: ensure planograms and POSM display are set up as planned, maintain brand guidelines.
• Merchant & staff engagement: conduct in-store training, campaign updates and surveys, gather feedback for improvements.
• Competitive monitoring: collect intelligence, identify trends, assess rivals’ strategies and opportunities.
• Field execution excellence: support hygiene audits and gather on-ground data and documentation.
