Job summary

CBH Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a project planning professional to develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers, contractors and suppliers.

You will monitor progress against baselines, prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and look-ahead schedules, identify delays and risks, and support recovery plans to ensure timely completion of EPCC electrical and infrastructure projects in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project planning/scheduling in EPCC, electrical, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of planning, progress monitoring, and scheduling techniques.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate activities, milestones and deadlines with Project Managers, Engineers, contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor progress against the approved baseline schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules and S-curves.
• Identify delays, critical activities, and schedule risks, and highlight them to the project team.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.
• Update project schedules based on actual progress and approved changes.
• Assist in preparing recovery plans and mitigation schedules for delayed activities.
• Maintain proper project planning and scheduling documentation.
