Job summary

Grand Venture Technology in Taman Desa Cemerlang, Johor, is seeking a Production Engineer to support the Production Manager in managing and improving manufacturing operations. The role ensures production processes are efficient, reliable, safe, and compliant with engineering and quality requirements.

The Production Engineer will work with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Production teams to implement process plans, improve efficiency, develop work instructions, and resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, or related field.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, process control, and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing daily production operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams to implement production and process plans.
• Monitor production progress, WIP, productivity, output and production performance to meet delivery and quality targets.
• Develop, review and maintain Work Instructions, SOPs, assembly procedures and process specifications.
• Create visual work instructions using photos, diagrams, flowcharts and CAD drawings to improve understanding and consistency.
• Ensure production documentation is accurate and maintained under QMS.
