Job summary

Maukerja Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to support the Operations and Production Manager in daily production, optimise processes, and drive cost reduction while ensuring product quality. You will collaborate with production teams to implement SOPs, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues with maintenance, and lead Lean, Kaizen, DMAIC initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Support the Operations Manager in managing daily production operations.
Monitor and control daily production processes to meet specifications.
Analyze production data and identify areas for process improvements.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with maintenance teams.
Develop and implement SOPs for production lines.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO, and company policies.
Collaborate with QC and team members to enhance product performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, DMAIC and Six Sigma.
