AIA is seeking an experienced life underwriter to assess applications for the Hong Kong market in a Malaysia-based role. You will underwrite all life products, ensure guidelines are followed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for decisions.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, fluency in English and Chinese, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in medical science, bioscience, or insurance.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin/Cantonese a plus.
• Customer oriented, self-motivated, proficient in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite all life products per guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and improve quality scores over time.
• Meet efficiency targets and reduce turnaround times.
• Develop technical proficiency by extending underwriting scope or limits.
• Collaborate with field force and other functions for decision-making.
• Explain and defend underwriting actions.
