Job summary

Mondelēz International in Shah Alam is seeking an IL6S Engineer to support the Integrated Lean and Six Sigma program at the Cadbury Shah Alam plant. You will participate in continuous improvement projects, collect and analyze data, and apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve efficiency and product quality.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, and prepare progress reports while embracing a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Support IL6S projects under guidance of IL6S Lead or project leader.
• Assist in defining project scope, goals, and objectives.
• Develop project plans and timelines; support task execution.
• Collect and analyze data, identify trends and root causes.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen) to improve processes.
• Develop SOPs and monitor effectiveness of improvements.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress.
