Job summary

WIWYNN TECHNOLOGY SERVICE MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing labor and material flow using industrial engineering methods.

You will design efficient station layouts to support operators and develop standard workflows for new and existing products with emphasis on safety and efficiency. You will lead product launch planning, suggest improvements to sequences and equipment utilization, and drive strategy deployment through Bottleneck Analysis and Value

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Preferably with relevant working experience of > 5 years.
• LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizen & MOH knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 45000 and ESD S2020 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Optimize direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow using industrial engineering methods.
• Design and implement optimal station layouts to support the operator.
• Develop standard workflow for new and existing products with safety and efficiency in mind.
• Support safety performance through ergonomic solutions for operations and material handling.
• Lead plan-for-every-part approach to new product launches.
• Recommend improvements for operation sequences, equipment utilization and related matters.
• Direct strategy deployment via Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.
• Review monthly MOH reports with management.
• Monitor MOH targets to be achieved as directed.
• Establish SOPs and provide training according to SOP.

Job description

Continuously optimizes direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow through the use of industrial engineering methods including line balancing, time studies, as well as both in-plant and external material flow

Designs and implements optimal station layouts that support the operator

Drives towards sustainable solutions by developing a standard workflow for new and existing products while considering safety and efficiency

Supports safety performance of the manufacturing area through the design of ergonomic solutions for the different operations as well as for material handling

Leads plan for every part approach to new product launches

Recommends improvements and/or modifications for the sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters

Directs strategy deployment by completing Bottleneck Analysis and Value Stream Mapping.

Monthly MOH report review with management.

UPPM monitoring to achieve target provided by superior.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Establish SOP work the process and provide training according to SOP.

What you'll need

Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.

Preferably with relevant working experience of > 5 years.

Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and engineering standards and systems

Knowledge of product launch management systems

Must possess strong team, leadership, and interpersonal skills to interact with and motivate a diverse group of people

LEAN Manufacturing, Kaizen & MOH knowledge will be advantage.

Experience on ISO 9000, ISO 14k, ISO 45k and ESD S2020 will be advantage.
