ICT Test Engineer / Senior

Job summary

Celestica in Malaysia seeks experienced test engineers to develop and optimize automated test programs for new product introductions. You will analyze FPY data, diagnose NDF and false failures, and work to shorten test cycles for high-volume production.

Regular calibration and preventive maintenance of Keysight and Flying Probe equipment are expected, with mentoring responsibilities for junior staff. The role requires at least 3 years in MNC/ICT sectors, strong hands-on capability with i3070

Qualifications

• Develop and implement test programs for new product introductions (NPI).
• Analyze FPY data and perform root cause analysis on No Defect Found (NDF) or false failures.
• Optimize test cycle times to meet high-volume production targets.
• Perform periodic calibration and preventive maintenance on Keysight and Flying Probe equipment.
• Train and mentor senior and junior technicians on troubleshooting complex tester failures.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in MNC and ICT.

Responsibilities

• Keysight Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience with Keysight (Agilent) i3070 Series testers.
• Flying Probe Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Flying Probe Test (FPT) systems (Takaya or similar). Ability to develop test programs directly from CAD data without physical fixtures.
• DFT (Design for Test): Ability to collaborate with R&D during the design phase to ensure boards have the necessary test points and accessibility.
• Test Development: Proven ability to write, debug, and optimize test plans, including analog unpowered, digital, and mixed-signal tests.
• Hardware Knowledge: Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Bed of Nails fixtures and robotic probe calibration.
