Job summary

Kelab Golf Negara Subang in Malaysia seeks an ICT Officer to maintain hardware, software and network systems, ensuring reliability and security for staff and members. You will manage user access, perform routine maintenance and backups, and support daily operations.

The role requires proactive incident handling, documentation, and reporting to the ICT Manager. You will monitor NAS, antivirus, door access interfaces, and assist with printer/scanner setups while delivering timely help desk support.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of hardware and peripherals; installation, configuration, repair and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with legal software licenses.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, mail server, website, antivirus, NAS, Wi-Fi.
• Create/remove user login and access rights in all software applications as approved by HOD.
• Diagnose hardware or software faults and resolve issues in person, over the phone or via remote access.
• Attend to staff and operator queries on related systems or applications.
• Obtain quotations for ICT related products.
• Assist in photocopier setup for printing and scanning.
• Handle AGM/EGM proxy processes from system to final results (data entry, accuracy, listing).
• Technical support includes help desk to members, staff and operators.
• Respond to call-outs in a timely manner.
• Any other duties as assigned by ICT Manager.

Responsibilities

• Tasked with monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, mail server, website, antivirus, NAS, Wi-Fi, etc.
• To create/remove user login and necessary access right in all software application as approved by HOD
• Responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with these systems and solve issues either in person or over the phone or through remote access
• Attending and logging to queries of staff and operators on related system or applications

• To handle Club’s General Meeting (EGM/AGM) proxy processes from the system till final results i.e. data entry and accuracy, proxy summary, listing and checking by members, etc
• Technical support includes help desk to members, staff and operators
• Responding to call-outs in a timely manner
• Any other duties as assigned by ICT Manager from time to time

Members

• Responsive in managing the feedback/ comments from members
• Logging the queries of members

Monthly Task

• To check and remove resigned (inactive) users from the server network login, all other application software access
• To record all the tasks and submit report to ICT Manager by the first week of the month

Daily Task

• To check windows, log all servers for any errors
• To check backup jobs completed as per schedule
• To check on Network Attached Storage (NAS)
• To check on Antivirus updates and all PCs are updated, to monitor log for any virus at all connected PC
• To ensure that QiSoft door access interface is running normally
• To log all users and members support request either verbally or written request
• To record all the above and submit report to ICT Manager by the Monday of the week
• To be available for urgent ICT assistance outside normal working hours when required.
