Job summary

Kaifa Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to lead tester setup, debugging, and yield improvement for PCBA products. You will work closely with customers and suppliers to design, manufacture, and validate testers and fixtures, and perform GR&R on ICT test systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or 5+ years as a full Pledged Engineer.
• Strong electronics knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to digest manufacturing challenges and brainstorm solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Familiarity with ICT Test Systems (Teradyne & Agilent) and FCT tester experience.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers on new test system implementations.
• Schematic review and PCBA debugging; ad hoc technical investigations.
• Engagement with customers for New Product Transfer (NPT) and NPIs.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer test requirements and develop test concepts with customers and suppliers.

Job description

• 1. Understand customer test requirement and provide test concept. Work together with customer and supplier to accomplish testers and testing fixtures design, manufacturing and validating.
• 2. Responsible for tester setup, debug, test yield tracking and improvement, analysis and improvement.
• 3. Perform tester GR&R and improvements to meet manufacturing standards.
• 4. To participate in root cause analysis on high failure rate components and customer return product.
• 5. Develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules to prevent equipment downtime.
• 6. Manage in Process Improvement in term of Yield, Equipment Troubleshooting and Test Automation in sphere of PCBA product testing.
• 7. Communicate closely with Customer on Test issue update and progress.

• 1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or working experience as a full Pledged Engineer for 5 years.
• 2. Possess good knowledge on Electronics and troubleshooting skill.
• 3. Ability to digest Manufacturing challenges, working as a team for technical brainstorming for solution.
• 4. Good communication skill, experience working with customer to tackle technical challenges.
• 5. Good knowledge of ICT Test System (Teradyne & Agilent) & FCT tester experience.
• 6. Ability to work with supplier to work on new test system implementation
• 7. Schematic review, PCBA debugging, work on adhoc technical investigation.
• 8. Ability to engage with customer for New Product Transfer
