Job summary

Kaifa Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an experienced EMS PCBA Process Engineer to lead process flow, documentation, and optimization for PCBA products. You will oversee HPU, PFMEA, capacity, and continuous improvement, ensuring efficient production and quality targets.

You will analyze production anomalies, propose yield improvements, evaluate tooling for new products, and participate in audits.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of EMS PCBA manufacturing process technology experience.
• Proficient in production management, product management, quality management, and PCBA processes.
• Familiar with ISO9000/TL9000/ISO14000/ISO13485/OHSAS18000/IATF16949 audits.

Responsibilities

• Formulate PCBA process flow and process documentation; optimize processes.
• Oversee HPU, PFMEA, production capacity, process evaluation, and continuous improvement of PCBA products.
• Analyze PCBA production anomalies and implement yield improvements.
• Evaluate manpower, tooling, fixtures for new PCBA products and provide production costs for quotations.
• Assess PCBA materials and consumption; monitor cost control.
• Assist in system audits and customer audits; prepare and review required documents.
• Evaluate new processes and introduce process improvements.
• Provide process technology training and participate in new employee recruitment.

Job description

1. Responsible for the formulation of PCBA process flow, process document production and process optimization;

2. Responsible for HPU, PFMEA, production capacity, process evaluation and continuous improvement of PCBA products;

3. Responsible for the analysis of PCBA product production anomalies and exception handling, and continuously improve the yield;

4. Responsible for the evaluation of manpower for new PCBA products, the evaluation of tooling and fixtures required for new products, the provision of production costs for product quotations, the formulation of new product processes and the evaluation of DFM design;

5. Responsible for the evaluation of PCBA section material and the evaluation of material consumption;

6. Participate in the company's system audit/product customer audit, and complete the preparation and review of documents required for the audit;

7. Responsible for the evaluation of new processes and the introduction of new processes;

8. Responsible for process technology training and new employee recruitment

Job Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing process technology of EMS electronic manufacturing enterprises, familiar with the management process of PCBA manufacturing business department; Professional knowledge of production management, product management, quality management, PCBA, etc.; Proficient in various PCBA production equipment, process technology knowledge;

2. Familiar with the operation and process of PCBA engineering department, good at process flow and efficiency management, proficient in all aspects of production and manufacturing; Familiar with production cost control, overall operation, familiar with production operation process and process regulations.

3. Familiar with the audit operation of ISO9000/TL9000/ISO14000/ISO13485/OHSAS18000/IATF16949 and other management systems.
