Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Co. in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure stock availability and balance service, cost, and working capital.

You will coordinate with sourcing units, suppliers, procurement and logistics to maintain smooth supply operations. Responsibilities include reviewing supply plans against forecasts, consolidating plans, placing purchase orders, monitoring days-on-hand, and managing slow-moving stock to avoid overstock.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply planning within FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Kinaxis or similar SCM systems.
• Experience in inventory optimization and process improvement.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, evolving organisation.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sourcing units to review supply plans against forecasts and orders.
• Consolidate supply plans from all sourcing units and share with customer service teams.
• Prepare loss-tree analysis for non-supplied orders.
• Ensure products are available to meet customer demand and maintain service levels.
• Place purchase orders to sourcing units and suppliers in different regions.
• Monitor days-on-hand and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete stocks (SLOB) and highlight actions.
• Oversee SKU phase-in/phase-out management.
• Prevent overstock that increases storage costs, expiry risk or working capital.
