Job summary

Straitdeer Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled NetDevOps engineer to architect and build a network automation platform in a hyperscale environment. You will implement drivers for multi-vendor devices, enhance observability with Prometheus/Grafana, and automate IPAM resources across global infrastructure.

You will work with Python, Ansible, Netmiko, and NAPALM in real production settings, collaborating with cross-border teams. Strong networking fundamentals and REST APIs are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in NetDevOps or network automation.
• Degree in CS, Software Engineering, Telecoms, or similar.
• Strong fundamentals in BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, spine-leaf.
• Proficient in Python for network automation; hands-on with Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, or Nornir.
• Experience deploying monitoring stacks: Zabbix, Prometheus + Grafana, Telegraf.
• Familiar with IPAM tools and CMDB systems.
• Comfortable with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiar with RESTCONF, NETCONF, gNMI APIs.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; capable of working with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build core modules of a network automation platform.
• Write low-level drivers and API integrations for multi-vendor devices.
• Improve network observability with Prometheus/Grafana and telemetry.
• Define monitoring metrics and multi-channel alerting for SLAs.
• Expose APIs for IP Address Management and automate IP/VLAN resources.
• Integrate DCIM and CMDB as a single source of truth.
• Roll out bulk config deployment with validation and verification.
• Develop automated config backup with diff/version control.
