Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group in Cyberjaya seeks a Senior Network Architect to design the global hyperscale network for AI and mining platforms, owning underlay/overlay architectures, IP planning, and backbone connectivity.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in CS/telecommunications/electronics and 8+ years’ experience with InfiniBand, RoCEv2, BGP/EVPN, SR‑MPLS/SRv6, DWDM, and large GPU clusters; the role offers a fast-growing environment and global-scale impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
• 8+ years of network architecture design and planning at hyperscale internet company, cloud provider, or backbone operator.
• Deep understanding of AI compute cluster networking; InfiniBand and RoCEv2 expertise.
• Experience with high-performance topologies and planning large GPU-scale clusters.
• Strong knowledge of data center routing and overlay technologies (BGP, OSPF, EVPN, SR-MPLS/SRv6).

Responsibilities

• Own underlay network architecture and backbone design for global data centers.
• Lead GPU cluster interconnects (InfiniBand/ RoCEv2) and spine-leaf/topologies.
• Collaborate on Overlay integration (VxLAN, EVPN, SDN controllers).
• Tune congestion control for hyperscale networks (PFC, ECN, INT).
• Produce architecture documentation (HLD/LLD), diagrams, and SOPs.
• Identify risks and drive roadmaps to completion.
