Shangri-La Rasa Ria Kota Kinabalu is seeking an experienced Hygiene Executive for the Executive Office division to uphold the highest sanitation standards across hotels and outlets.

The role requires fluent English and Malay, a minimum of 2 years in a similar position, and MOH-certified food handling credentials, including HACCP training. You will lead a team and contribute to a safe guest experience and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Presentable, pleasant, and neat appearance.
• Fluent in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
• Attended MOH Food Handler Training Course.
• Certified Food Handler Training Trainer recognized by MOH.
• Certified or trained in HACCP, food hygiene, and food safety systems.

We're looking for an experienced Hygiene Executive or aspiring to be required for our Executive Office division.

Job Summary

The Hygiene Executive, under the guidance and supervision of the Hygiene Manager, is responsible for the highest level of sanitation and hygiene standards in the hotel and to ensure all food served to guests and employees are free of microbiological, chemical, and physical contamination, and all work areas conform to minimum requirements set by local health authorities.

Requirement

• Presentable, pleasant, and neat appearance.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Malay; additional language i.e., any local / international language is a definite advantage.
• At least 2 years' experience in similar position
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with experience in team supervision and fostering a positive work culture.
• Possesses excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attended and completed the MOH Food Handler Training Course.
• Certified Food Handler Training Trainer recognized by Ministry Of Health (MOH), Malaysia.
• Certified or trained in HACCP, food hygiene, and food safety management systems.
• Malaysian Nationality only.
