ABB is seeking a Field Service Engineer to execute technical service activities on DCS and PLC systems at hydro power plants and industrial facilities in the APAC region. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, plan work, prepare materials, and work closely with customers to maintain high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities include on-site field service, remote support, and delivering accurate customer reports while coordinating with teams.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent qualification (min. 3 years field service).
- Experience servicing PLC/DCS systems in hydro power plants or industrial facilities.
- Fluent English with strong communication and documentation skills.
Responsabilidades
- Execute technical service activities on DCS and PLC systems across APAC hydro power plants and facilities.
- Plan and deliver service work per customer orders and timelines.
- Prepare material lists and ensure availability of parts and equipment for service activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment/process failures and propose practical corrective actions.
- Create customer reports and sign-off documents with customer representatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve working methods and operational reliability.
