Job summary

BSI Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Workday Functional Consultant to join our Kuala Lumpur office on a permanent hybrid basis. You will configure Workday modules, troubleshoot issues, and manage changes across the global platform.

The role focuses on system accuracy, data integrity, and release readiness within SDLC, ITIL, and Agile frameworks. You will work across Workday functions and partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and stakeholders to maximise value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday experience in a functional role.
• Experience with 1+ Workday modules such as Recruiting, Learning, or Compensation.
• Desirable experience in Workday Security or Integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and administration across the Workday platform, ensuring a stable, efficient HR system.
• Own and configure key Workday modules, driving enhancements while maintaining governance and design standards.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues with root-cause analysis for long-term solutions.
• Deliver Workday change requests from requirements through testing, deployment and post-launch support.
• Lead assessment and testing of Workday bi-annual releases with minimal business disruption.
• Monitor system performance, data quality, security, and reporting accuracy; implement improvements.
• Identify automation and process optimization opportunities to improve UX and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to maximize Workday value.
