Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is offering a 6‑month internship in the Global Operations Group, focusing on supply chain and manufacturing support. You will help expedite materials, analyze shortages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time production and customer delivery.

You will gain exposure to supply chain planning, procurement, and project management best practices, with hands-on experience in reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 6-month internship experience requirement.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and supply chain teams in expediting materials to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Analyze data using SAP, Excel, and internal shortage management tools to identify material shortages and risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support material allocation and delivery priorities.
• Assist in tracking supply chain projects and process improvement initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Help develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor material delivery performance and risks.
• Participate in root cause analysis and support corrective action plans for supply chain challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and processes.
• Prepare presentations, documentation, and status updates for project reviews and team meetings.
