Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is offering a 6-month internship in Penang/Batu Kawan to support manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will gain hands-on experience expediting materials, analyzing shortages with SAP and Excel, and collaborating with teams across Logistics, Purchasing, and Engineering.

You’ll develop reports and dashboards, participate in root-cause analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing and supply chain teams in expediting materials to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Analyze data using Excel, SAP, and internal tools to identify shortages and risks; assist with escalation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing, Engineers) to support material allocation and delivery priorities.
• Track supply chain projects and process improvements from planning through implementation.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor delivery performance and risks.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and corrective action for supply chain challenges.
