Job summary

RoviSys is seeking an MES Functional Analyst / Technical Project Manager to define business requirements and lead MES delivery from requirements through go-live. This hybrid role combines functional analysis with hands-on technical project management, coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet production goals.

You will evaluate business needs, architect MES solutions, manage scope and budget, and train users, while ensuring successful implementation and measurable improvements in efficiency

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on technical experience as a developer or engineer.
• Experience across more than one manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MES capabilities and how they improve efficiency and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork ability.
• Strong communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating business needs and perform impact analysis of changes.
• Architect MES solutions to address business problems efficiently.
• Plan and manage MES project execution from kickoff to go-live, including budget and resources.
• Develop and maintain a corporate knowledgebase for MES.
• Develop training plans and provide user training as needed.
• Serve as primary contact to manage functional and technical issues with vendors.
• Coordinate cross-functional IT, engineering, and production teams to stay on track.
• Develop test cases and perform comprehensive functional testing.
• Work with IT and MES development teams to ensure proper configuration and customization.
• Monitor MES performance post-implementation and analyse data for outcomes.
• Prepare detailed project status reports and presentations for senior management.
