Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking an experienced engineer to own and evolve planning and MES systems across global sites. You will drive system roadmaps, coordinate requirements with stakeholders, and lead upgrades and digitalization initiatives.

The role requires strong PL/SQL/Oracle skills, VB.NET/C#.NET development, and experience with MES software such as Workstream and PROMIS. Excellent communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor degree in CS, CE, IT or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience desirable.
• Proficient in PL/SQL and Oracle database.
• Proficient in VB.NET, C#.NET, web services, SOAP and XML.
• Experience with MES software such as Workstream, PROMIS, FactoryWorks, OPSCenter, SiView, FAB300.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage lifecycle of Global Planning Systems, MES and OT solutions under Global PFP portfolio.
• Define system roadmaps and drive improvements for business requirements and tech sustainability.
• Lead medium to large projects across Global Sites and perform migrations/ upgrades.
• Coordinate requirements with stakeholders across sites and prepare design docs.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Drive process harmonization and system standardization initiatives.
