Job summary

Experian PLC in Malaysia seeks a Software Engineer to help build backend services and cloud-based applications as part of our Platform Services Engineering team. You will collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering to deliver scalable, secure software.

Ideal candidates have up to 2 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS), databases, APIs, and modern development tools. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with opportunities to grow in a global data and tech company.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience including internships or projects.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and databases, APIs, and dev tools.
• Basic knowledge of testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD concepts.
• 1+ years of experience with a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and improve core platform services and infrastructure components.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable using cloud-native tech and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Architect, UX, Delivery, and SRE teams on requirements.
