Job summary

Experian Marketing Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance backend services and user-facing applications on our cloud platform. You will work across the full stack to build scalable microservices and reusable platform capabilities that empower product teams.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering, apply design thinking, and ensure secure, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years in professional software engineering delivering scalable backend and frontend.
Strong object-oriented design, system architecture, and engineering best practices.
Experience with cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, APIs, and databases.
Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain automated testing and CI/CD.
Mentoring engineers and contributing to a high-performing team culture.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deliver high-quality software solutions with cross-functional teams.
Write clean, efficient code and ensure performance, security, and quality.
Enhance test coverage with frameworks like JUnit, Cucumber, Cypress.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
Improve engineering practices, reliability, and development efficiency.
Create technical documentation and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance.
