Job summary

Experian Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy full stack applications. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions and contribute to automated testing and quality standards.

The role emphasizes frontend and backend work with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and RESTful APIs, plus experience with CI/CD and cloud environments. A hybrid work arrangement in Malaysia is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT/Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience with full stack development.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and ORM tech like Hibernate/JPA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.
• Build modern user interfaces, APIs, and database components.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Develop and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/end-to-end).
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support and Consulting teams to deliver outcomes.
• Leverage modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tools.
