Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Material Handler for its Kuala Lumpur area, focusing on safe and efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of materials in an ASRS-driven environment. You will help ensure accurate inventory and timely delivery to production lines.

Key duties include operating ASRS equipment, conducting counts in the WMS, maintaining a tidy workspace, and collaborating with production, logistics, and quality control to maintain smooth material flow. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse, preferably with automated systems exposure.
• Experience operating ASRS or similar automated handling equipment is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ASRS equipment, including cranes, conveyors, and robotic systems, to move and store materials according to established procedures.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including those related to hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Complete necessary documentation and reports related to material movements and inventory.
